All aboard! Experience the thrill of exploring a law enforcement and U.S. Coast Guard vessel used to protect right whales. Learn about right whale research and see the vessels scientists use to study these whales. Check out vessels that play a crucial role in rescuing entangled whales! 

Learn about right whales and other marine mammals directly from the biologists that work so hard to protect them. Experts will be on-hand throughout the festival to tell you about their efforts and answer your questions.  Schedule of experts will be posted at the festival. 

FREE screening of the documentary Right Over the Edge. A new film about the world's rarest whale. Bring your lawn chairs and join us on the festival grounds for this extraordinary film!

Get ready for a truly magical and uplifting experience that will connect you with the majesty of the ocean and the gentle giants that roam its depths! Join in cleaning up the beaches and surrounding areas in preparation for the upcoming right whale calving season. Keep Nassau Beautiful (KNB) and community volunteers will remove litter and debris on the beach, beach access points, and beach parks and parking lots. Please register ONLINE.

With wagging tails and slobbery smiles, furry friends are welcome to support of right whale conservation by participating in our dog parade. Participants are encouraged to dress their pets  in a marine-themed costumes! Humane Society of Nassau County and Tails of the Trail will be hosting this pawsome parade! This skateboard competition will show off amazing local talent with skills used not only on the ramps but while surfing in the ocean. Don't miss this adrenaline-pumping event with a purpose, where extreme sports meets ocean conservation in an epic collision of thrill and responsibility. Friends of Fernandina Skatepark and Amelia Surf Co. will be hosting this contest; please register ONLINE.  

Jessica Koelsch Bibza was a driving force behind the creation of this festival. As an Ironman athlete and marine scientist, she believed a way to get the community involved in right whale conservation was through athletics. Her memory lives on through this 35-mile tribute ride for experienced cyclists. North Florida Bicycle Club will be hosting this event; please register ONLINE.
